Motorsport Experience: No official racing experience, more theoretical based. More experienced as track support engineer, I’ve been to many Tin Tops and Subaru cup races and supported the vehicles and drivers. I used to be pretty good at drifting a Mazda RX7 in ‘Need for Speed underground’ if that counts. Experience with building Coventry Universities 2009 Formula Student car, Specializing in Powertrain (design and manufacture of exhaust system, dyno mapping of engine, rolling road fine tuning, track testing) (senior role in team). Team principal + Principal Engineer of Coventry Universities 2011 EVGP entry, raced at the Indianapolis speed way Indiana, USA. (Finished 3rd out of 35 universities).
Hobbies: Snowboarding, brewing, restoring classic Triumph Spitfire, GF, enjoy the occasional round of golf.
About me: Ive always wanted to try my hand at racing a hot hatch, now with my well paid job I have no excuse not to. Spent years tinkering with other peoples race cars i now have the opertunity to make and race my own.
Since 2008 ive been travelling to Le Mans to see the 24 hour race as part of my yearly Motorsport intake.
